Cambodia's DPM Sophea Meets Serbian FM Dacic to Discuss Bilateral Ties

Jakarta, Indonesia - On September 4, 2023, Deputy Prime Minister SOK Chenda Sophea, who holds the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Cambodia, engaged in a bilateral meeting with Ivica Dacic, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, in Jakarta. During this diplomatic encounter, both sides identified promising areas of collaboration, with a particular focus on enhancing economic ties between Cambodia and Serbia.

A notable outcome of this meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Cooperation. This MoU solidifies the commitment of the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia to work together. This cooperative effort is expected to further strengthen diplomatic relations and promote collaboration between the two nations, particularly in the fields of diplomacy and international relations.
